Big Brown has won the 2008 Haskell Invitational, a $1 million race on 1 1/8 miles of dirt at Monmouth Park. After quick fractions set by Coal Play, Big Brown won the Haskell in the stretch by 1 3/4 lengths with a final time of 1:48.31. The high weight in this handicap race, 1-5 favorite Big Brown carried four pounds more than his six Haskell rivals.

Big Brown is back in his first race since the Belmont Stakes, in the $1 million Haskell Invitational at Monmouth Park.
